Winter Giveaway 2026–2027 with Tom the Chef — Official Rules

This promotion is the Winter Giveaway 2026–2027 with Tom the Chef (the "Giveaway"). It is a single promotion that runs across the fall and winter season, with five (5) drawings — four early drawings and one main drawing — and is not limited to any one class or series.

1. Eligibility

Open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia, and of Canada excluding the Province of Quebec, who are at least eighteen (18) years old (or the age of majority in their state or province, whichever is older) at the time of entry. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Owners, employees, and contractors of Checked Solutions, LLC, anyone who worked on this promotion, and their immediate family and household members are not eligible.

2. Sponsor

Checked Solutions, LLC, 290 Tomahawk TR SE, Cedar Rapids, Iowa 52403, USA — a single-member LLC organized in the State of Iowa ("Sponsor").

3. Promotion / Entry Period and Dates

All times are Central Time (America/Chicago). The Giveaway has five (5) drawings, on these dates:

- The Giveaway opens to the public on Friday, October 30, 2026 at 7:00 PM.

- Drawing 1: Monday, November 16, 2026 (live on Facebook).

- Drawing 2: Friday, December 11, 2026.

- Drawing 3: Monday, December 21, 2026. There is no drawing in the week of December 27, 2026.

- Drawing 4: Monday, January 11, 2027.

- Entries close: Thursday, January 28, 2027 at 11:59 PM (the "Entry Period" ends).

- Main drawing: Friday, January 29, 2027.

The close of entries (Thursday, January 28, 2027 at 11:59 PM) and the main drawing (Friday, January 29, 2027) are different days: entries close the day before the main drawing. No entry made, card received, or purchase completed after 11:59 PM on January 28, 2027 counts toward any drawing. Qualifying purchases made on or after October 19, 2026 count. Classes, series, bundles, and recordings may be offered for sale before, during, and after the Entry Period; only purchases completed within the dates above are eligible for this Giveaway.

4. How to Enter

There is one maximum for everybody: no person may hold more than two hundred (200) entries in any drawing, from all methods of entry combined — purchase, mail, and free activities together. Entries above 200 are not counted. Purchase and mail entries are capped at two hundred (200) per person. No purchase is ever required to enter or to win, and the full 200 can be reached without any purchase.

(a) Entries by purchase — in tiers, added together, capped at 200. Each qualifying purchase of a Tom the Chef online class earns entries by what was bought: any single class — twenty-five (25) entries; the six-class series — one hundred fifty (150) entries; the Premium Bundle — two hundred (200) entries. Purchase entries are cumulative: the entries from every qualifying purchase made with the same email address are added together, up to two hundred (200) per person, and never more. A registration with no payment — free, $0, or complimentary — is not a qualifying purchase and earns no entries. A refund takes back the entries the refunded purchase earned. Purchase entries are credited automatically to the email address on the order — no code is needed — including purchases made before the purchaser joins the Giveaway, which are credited when they join with the same email address.

(c) Free entry by activities — no purchase necessary. Joining the free Tom the Chef Club (the newsletter) is the first step and earns one (1) entry; it opens the other activities. The activities include inviting friends, following Tom the Chef on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, commenting daily on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok, coming back daily, entering codes announced on live streams, and entering codes from earlier Tom the Chef giveaways (each code once per person). These activities never require a purchase, are open to everyone on identical terms, and count toward the same 200 maximum; the 200 maximum can be reached through free activities alone. The then-current list of activities and the entries each awards is posted on the Giveaway page and governs.

Crediting. Entries are credited as they are earned, and in any case within seven (7) business days. Entries from qualifying purchases and free mail-in cards made before the Giveaway opens are credited within seven (7) business days after it opens on October 30, 2026.

Because the 200-entry maximum is the same for everybody and fully reachable for free, a purchase does not improve anyone's chances of winning.

5. Odds

Each entry has an equal chance of being selected. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries at the time of each drawing. No number of entries guarantees a win.

TOTAL ARV of all prizes: US $1,961.61.

Fulfillment: After each drawing, Sponsor purchases each physical prize and ships it to the winner from a retailer in the winner's own country (US winners from a US retailer; Canadian winners from a Canadian retailer), so no customs duties apply. Online classes are delivered as access to the class. Prizes are non-transferable; no cash substitution. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the stated item becomes unavailable.

7. Taxes

Prizes may be taxable. The winner is solely responsible for all federal, state, provincial, and local taxes on a prize. If the total value awarded to any one winner across all drawings of this Giveaway reaches US $600 or more, that winner must complete and return an IRS Form W-9 before the prize is awarded, and Sponsor will issue an IRS Form 1099-MISC. This provision applies regardless of the currently stated prize value.

8. Winner Selection, Drawing Method & Notification

Each drawing is a random drawing from all eligible entries held at the moment of that drawing, conducted live on camera and recorded, on the dates in Section 3. Drawing method: each eligible entrant is assigned a contiguous numbered range of entries equal to their entries (never more than 200), and each winning number is selected using a visible random number generator. Each prize is drawn once. In any one drawing, each prize goes to a different person.

Winning an early drawing does not remove anyone from later drawings: early winners remain eligible for every later drawing, including the main drawing, and every entrant's entries carry forward in full from one drawing to the next. Entries are not used up by a drawing.

Winner(s) will be notified by email within three (3) business days of their drawing and must respond within seven (7) days, or the prize is forfeited and an alternate winner is drawn. Canadian winners must first correctly answer, unaided and with no assistance, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question, in a single attempt, as a condition of winning. If a winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, declines, or fails the skill-testing question, an alternate winner may be selected from the remaining eligible entries.

9. Staying Subscribed — Unsubscribing

Entering subscribes you to the free Tom the Chef Club weekly newsletter. You may unsubscribe at any time, but you must stay subscribed until winners are drawn to stay in the running.

Unsubscribing at any time — before, between or after any drawing — means leaving the Giveaway, and you lose all of your entries, from every method of entry. Unsubscribing removes you from all Tom the Chef Club email — the newsletter and every current and future giveaway — effective immediately, and voids any entries accrued. An address that has unsubscribed cannot enter again. Re-subscribing requires a written application to [email protected] with a reason; it's the only route; acceptance, timeframe and a response are not guaranteed. We keep this rule out of respect for people's reasons to leave and to keep the list to real, committed subscribers.

10. Mail — No Responsibility for Late or Lost Entries

Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, damaged, illegible, postage-due, or undelivered mail, or for any entry not actually received by the close of entries. Entrants bear the risk of mail delivery; only cards physically in Sponsor's possession by 11:59 PM Central Time on January 28, 2027 are eligible.

11. Publicity Release — Winners' Names

By entering, each entrant gives Sponsor permission, if they win, to publish their first name, last initial, and state (or province) — for example, "Finn M., TX" — on the Giveaway page, in Tom the Chef email and on Tom the Chef social media, to announce the winners. Except where prohibited, acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for Sponsor to use the winner's first name, last initial, and state or province for promotional purposes without further compensation.

12. Privacy

Information collected from entrants is used only to administer this Giveaway and is handled in accordance with the Sponsor's Privacy Policy; it is not sold. Personal data of Canadian entrants is collected, used, and disclosed solely to administer this Giveaway, in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy law (including PIPEDA) and the Sponsor's Privacy Policy.

13. Platform Disclaimer

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Meta, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, KitchenAid, or any manufacturer of a prize. Entrants release Meta, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube from any and all liability arising from this Giveaway.

14. General Conditions & Limitation of Liability

By entering, entrants agree to these Official Rules and to the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding on all matters relating to this Giveaway. Sponsor may disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or violates these Rules. Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, reschedule, or cancel any part of this giveaway (including drawing dates) at any time if necessary. Entrants release the Sponsor and its contractors from any and all liability arising from participation in this Giveaway or acceptance or use of a prize, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

15. Governing Law

These Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles; for Canadian residents, mandatory local consumer-protection law also applies.
